That certainly helps the book counter along, in my omnibus version the ten books of Amber kick in at less than 1200 pages... I'm on the sixth book now, in just a handful of days.

Other than that, as I was looking for something to read in German that was sort of light reading without being too terrible, I came across Akif Pirinçci's Yin, about a virus that slowly kills all men and leaves the women to survive on their own. So far, in terms of gender relations, it seems rather clichéd and lacking nuance, but we'll see how it goes further on.
