1. Must be composed of at least 4 books, and a trilogy plus an anthology or lone prequel should be avoided.

2. Is not the novelization of some movie, TV series, or video game like Star Trek or Star Wars or Star Craft, or for that matter a RPG like Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, Warhammer 40k, etc.

Also, for series with four books.. there is sergei lukyanenko's night watch/day watch/twilight watch/last watch books... and steph swainston's novels about the fourlands. Couldn't find them in your list, anyway.

I must admit I'm having difficulties thinking of such long series... I suppose you could make an argument for the baroque cycle and cryptonomicon by stephenson, but that would probably be stretching the rules a bit far...

Now I am stretching my memory a bit, but how about david farland? I am pretty sure there was a series... sum of all men, and all that?

and when we're doing davids... dave duncan... a man of his word? wasn't that four books? and the kings blades, a trilogy of trilogies?

Also, didn't OSCard write something about some 7th son or something like that?

I can't even remember if these last ones are any good, but they're long. ish.
