I've read Flowers for Algernon, but I couldn't for the life of me think of the author. I also missed The Road, I Am Legend, The Last Unicorn, The Forever War, the Culture series, The Crystal Cave, Sunshine, the Outlander series, and the Space trilogy.
... C.S. Lewis wrote something called the Space trilogy? And it's on this list while Narnia isn't?
Some of them I got by luck. Knowing that LeGuin wrote The Left Hand of Darkness, and that Niven wrote Ringworld, got me three others automatically that I wouldn't otherwise have known.
Fun game, though. And overall, yeah, I would take all sorts of issue with the list itself.

I've heard that Moorcock had a pretty unusual writing approach in the past.

Seems most of these Elric books don't go far beyond a hundred pages, so yeah... *NM*

Yeah. I don't really like fantasy but I know of the Elric series. It's well written, so they say. *NM*

I like the series, but I wouldn't use "well-written" to describe the 1960s-1970s books
