After the atrocity that was book 10, I finally became convinced that RJ and Tor were milking us fans for all we were worth, and promised that I wouldn't read any more until the series was done. I did end up reading book 11 not long after it came out in paperback, but only because I needed to make up the numbers for a 3 for 2 deal, so I wasn't really giving them any of my money.

Over Christmas I reread book 11 to remind myself what was going on. I had originally planned to reread the whole series in time for the last one, but I left myself without enough time to start at the beginning. I'm now halfway through my first read of book 12, and so far I'm very impressed. I'm only working on Friday this week, and then there's the weekend, so with luck I'll be able to finish book 13 by the time book 14 is released, as planned.
