I've been buying some with iTunes gift cards (still have around $30 left to spend after a pre-order)

And did you get any books for Christmas? If so, what were they?
I'm reading some 2013 releases the next few days:
Leah Stewart, The History of Us (official release is in a week, but I got a review copy)
Tamas Dobozy, Siege 13 (this shipped early, so I received it just after Christmas)
George Saunders, Tenth of December (collection will appear in my iBooks shelf on the 8th)
Might read the WoT book sometime after its release, but no pressing concern, as I know most of the major spoilers already and I suspect it'll be a clusterfuck in presentation.
Going to work on my German, Italian, and Serbian vocabulary acquisition a lot more than usual this month. Uncertain what that'll mean for reading.

Happy New Year! Do you have reading plans for January?
