I have not read The Mistborn Trilogy but I have read Way of Kings, and loved it. I am also up to date with TWOT, which IMO he saved. After reading about his "universe" it sounds like what King did with a lot of his books. Then he wrote The Dark Tower to tie it all in. So is Wit supposed to be Sanderson's Man in Black? after reading this thread I am going to stop reading The Dresden files as soon as I finish Fool Moon and pick up Mistborn. I have read Legion and about to finish The Emperor's Soul and I have to say Sanderson is one of the best storytellers I have read. I am excited about this commitment and looking forward to joining the discussions in the future.

Uh...Faust is a play. Doctor Faustus is a novel. The former is Goethe, the latter is Mann. *NM*

I suppose fame is relative, but the most famous Doctor Faustus, to me personally, is indeed a play.
