I gave him a copy before he headed off to germany and I'm not sure if he brought it back. If so I'll probably try to 'liberate' it sometime soon.
If not, why would you lend a book you haven't already read, to someone? That's something I would never do.
It was a going away present. Possession of books is a fairly fluid thing in my family. If a book enters the house there is the expectation that all members of the family will have the option of reading it, though with both my brother and I living away from home for much of the last few years this practice has been somewhat tested.
