and books of the new sun by gene wolfe and the kingkiller chronicles by patrick rothfuss

Hello to you all! A long while since I've posted on here, so hope you are all doing well.

So I just finished reading the Malazan series, and will polish off the novellas in the coming weeks. I actually discovered the Malazan series by asking here and I wasn't disappointed, so I'm back to see what else you lot can recommend.

Obviously I've done WoT, and I've picked up and put down ASoIaF a couple of times. I've also tried Robin Hobb and Terry Brooks and haven't really connected with either one.

I'm keen to stay with the fantasy genre, so any recommendations are most welcome.

Thanks!

I second this. It's not on the same scale as Malazan, but has a similar-ish feel - 16/10/2012 05:16:05 PM 899 Views
