If it were the Spring of 2011, I probably would have done it faster, but then in the Spring of 2011, I hadn't gone through a crash course of Italian and was working through the expansive vocabulary of German.
I essentially wrote the review in pieces and then re-read to modify things based on later reading, though I'm sure there are still places where it doesn't make a whole lot of sense because I did end up cutting and pasting at the end and just wanted to be done with it.

I often give up after 1200 words (including quotes) due to time/concentration concerns. But your review made sense to me, not just as a reader, but as someone who is familiar with the concepts you mention.
Now to look for that critical edition for the future, as the three books are only around 200-220 pages each on my iPad.
