After enduring recent arguments elsewhere regarding online reviews vis-à-vis literary criticism, your piece reminds me why the best reviews/crit pieces inform readers about the "whys" of a work and not just the plodding "how he did it" details. I really liked the part in your discussion of Inferno where you discuss the issue of repentance/love and how that then tied into the other two parts.
