I can definitely see not loving it, but I think the worst anyone could give it would be 5 out of 10.


The sheer scope of self-plagiarization and repitition of ideas and jokes and dialogue became more than I could stomach, and I have read over 30 novels by Harry Turtledove.

Holy crap. I just read that last clause, and realized it's true. Underselling the point if anything...and my Turtledove reading list is hardly exhaustive.
