What was it?
Vision of the Future by Timothy Zahn is the second book in his Hand of Thrawn duology. These book are set ten years after his original Thrawn Trilogy.

What kind of book (i.e. genre)?
Sci-Fi

Did you enjoy it?
Definitely. My only real complaint is the ending felt a bit rushed for how long the book built up the various plot lines.

Would you recommend it to others, and if so, who might enjoy it?
I would recommend both the original Thrawn Trilogy and the Hand of Thrawn duology to anyone who is both a Star Wars fan and loves to read. I honestly can't imagine someone who doesn't like both to get very much enjoyment out of it.
