I know. I do read some - but somehow it's usually one book per author.

It has more range and sometimes more interesting themes than fantasy. Some of it is even good.
Most recently Ursula LeGuin's Left Hand of Darkness, excellent book. Other ones that I liked include Lem's Solaris, Clarke's Childhood's End, Card's Ender's Game, Simmons' Hyperion, Dick's Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, and so on.
