I think that our tastes in literature align more or less. It's just when things get politicized that we may see eye to eye or have radically divergent ideas on something (and I still can't figure out any rational basis for how to predict whether it will be one or the other).

I had heard other people say good things about this book before, and so now I think I'm going to have to go ahead and read it (though probably not until next year).
