I keep trying to stop buying books and now you have made me go out and buy this book!!!
I guess what with your propensity of buying hardcover fancy books it'll have cost you more than the 5/3 pounds it cost me, too.
In other words, your review interested me greatly.
Is it bad that I get nervous when you say that? Our tastes align at times, not so much at others. I hope this'll be one of the cases where you agree with my positive view (and if you don't, at least I'll have the comfort of knowing I'm far from alone in calling this a great novel...). I think my review was balanced enough, but I can easily see how people who dislike a few characters that I liked, Dorothea in particular, would be a whole lot less enthusiastic.
