I didn't realize how autobiographical the book was when I approached this a few years ago. Unfortunately I never finished the book, for what reason I can't recall, but did greatly enjoy the majority that I did read. As much as I love Lawrence, his descriptions of relationships just do get a little tedious. I suppose I burn out on that.
Anyway, I've been reading his poetry lately. A nurse friend bought me the Penguin Complete Poems. 'Tis sweet.
