if you didn't know, tesco also has www.tesco.com/tescobooks site, where you can buy books online. the advantage of this over amazon being that you can get tesco clubcard points and you can spend your tesco vouchers on there too. of course this is only really relevant if you're living in the UK and have a tesco clubcard and not to endorse any kind you know supermarket or whatever but it's a pretty decent points scheme.


I'd say that if you want an alternative to amazon, abebooks is the place to go -- it covers the independent bookstores, keeping them in business. I do not want to end up having to rely on Tesco for book selection. Jesus Christ, what a nightmare.


they'll only have one edition of each rather than a choice, but it's not too bad. and all the lovely points.

that abebooks does look pretty useful actually, is it independent online bookstores that they're sourced from?
