I didn't think that was all that much of a twist. It seemed fairly obvious to me. The one thing that caught me off guard the biggest was Dalinar giving up his Shardplate to his son. I know that is (or might be) probably going to be a fairly minor plot point in the long run, but for some reason it really caught me off guard.


The realization that the slaves were the former oppressors seems like a logical step to me. Whenever I find the time between school, work, family, and the little bit of TV I watch, I'll be rereading if I can.
