and I welcome it. I always have whatever book I am currently reading with me. Many times someone in the line at the grocery store or checker will strike up a conversation. People that I work with routinely do it with eachother. At least where I live it is not uncommon. I rarely go to a book store without getting into a conversation with someone.

Usually I will say something like "I love that series!" or ask what they think of it. I have never gotten a one word answer or had someone give me a look as if I were creeping them out. I think we book lovers crave eachother's company. Not everyone gets us.
