Re: Emma Bovary has no depth, she is a ninny! RomaVenkat Send a noteboard - 09/09/2011 05:46:45 AM
I am flabbergasted.

Seriously, they are all, except for the two angels, who have potential, pretty straightforward. Good Omens is brilliant writing that is dedicated to plot, theme, and fun. But it is rather light reading if you want, like, subtlety or some such other thing.

I'll take Aziraphale over Emma Bovary any day.

But some people prefer ninnies so long as they can understand them in their boring entirety.

Which Pratchett book should I try first? - 08/09/2011 01:56:11 AM 920 Views
Hm. I don't know if I'd call Pratchett "cerebral." He's more... British. - 08/09/2011 03:26:53 AM 716 Views
