By that I mean, do you read only one book at the time? Do you have to finish that book before you can pick up another?
Or do you read a little here and a little there, sticking with a book for a while, stopping by to have a taste at another, before finishing the first?
I am very much of the latter type. I read books through all the time, but quite frequently I will have put another book aside in order to read the one I am currently reading without interruptions. I read by craving. I don't know whether this is a side-effect of working with books all the time, or just a natural part of the human condition. And so I ask.

I've tried to read a couple books at a time and I just couldn't do it. Either I'm completely engaged in one book or I get another to read. The only time I can switch between books is if it is between school books or school books and a reading for pleasure book.
Kirk: Spock, you want to know something? Everybody’s human.
Spock: I find that remark…insulting.

Are you a "monogamous" reader, as it were?

For the most part. Not always, but then it usually ends up with me divorcing the first book. *NM*
