The only book I have that touches on post-WWII European history is Norman Davies' Europe: A History, which is largely focused on pre-WWII history. My post-WWII history so far is about Korea, Africa, a bit on Russia, and the Middle East. That's probably because I have a harder time thinking of post-WWII events as "history" yet. WWII seems to be where I draw the line in my head: these things are old enough to examine, these other things are not.

But that said, I think a post-war examination of Europe would go down nicely. I'll put this on my list.
