My favourite dragons.. Maria Send a noteboard - 15/08/2011 09:05:49 PM
...are mighty creatures, but not almighty.

They are magnificient, colourful, gleaming in the sun.
They certainly have wings (who can imagine a dragon without wings??), four legs, are capable of magic and can of course talk (if they choose to - humans are inferior to them of course).

They have great intellect, a memory that go back for centuries (I liked Robin Hobb's take on this, where dragons are given access to their forebearers' memories) and live long lives.

I think my favourite dragon in literature is Arzosah in Katherine Kerr's Deverry series - beautiful, magical, can seem spiteful and nasty, but with a good heart when it comes down to it.

Little?
Me?
Far from it.
I am just large enough.

from top to bottom.
Are you larger than yourself maybe?
