I was just getting into two very good books and then his A Bowel Movement with Jon Snow came out, and my wife said I should read it first since I got her to read the Druon series (though she's reading it in a Russian translation from the French) and she was too into that to read Martin.
I'm now back to those books, but for whatever reason I had started on a non-fiction book as well. It's just complicated. Anyway, I'm finally reading, after much resistance, Anna Karenina. I also started Der Zauberberg by Thomas Mann, after dithering between him and Musil.
