I just finished Dance with Dragons and I have 2 things to say:
1) Jon Snow's heritage is explained in book 4 & 5. His mother's name is Wylla, she was a sailor's daughter who sailed Ned Stark safely through a storm during Robert's rebellion after her father, the ships captain, died. The reason Ned wanted to tell him who is mother was so badly wasn't because it was Lyanna (contrary to popular belief)it's because the last time he saw Jon, he promised to tell Jon who his mother was the next time he saw him. "When next we meet."
2) This entire series is ABOUT Daenerys. She is the main character. She is Azor Ahai reborn. She hatched dragons. And she is coming.
Wow, this is painful. First of all, Jon gots him a burned hand, so I'm pretty sure he isn't immune to fire. Secondly, saying that Viserys wasn't immune is foolish, since I assume you're referring to his manner of death which had little to do with fire, more to do with molten metal. Lastly, I'm not sure that we've seen that even Dany is immune to fire.
Sidenote: I've never considered Dany a good guy. I've always looked at her as bad and hope she turns out to be bad. I dislike her and her character immensely. I liked Tywin and Cersei better, and thats just sad.

I'm re-reading the SoFaI books, and rethinking all sorts things. One of these is, is Jon immune to fire?
Most people believe that Jon is really Rhaegar and Liana's son, and thus a member of house Targaryen.
Daenerys is immune to fire, being a 'real dragon', and Viserys, aqually a Targaryen, was oviusly not immune.
So, what about our dear Jon? I can't remember if he is or isn't.
I have to say, that I hope he is couse that will make my whole 'Daenerys an Jon are the real heroes of these books and will end up saving the world with dragons' theory much better.
