I'm always sad too. j-whitt987 Send a noteboard - 12/05/2011 01:03:09 PM
if i've enjoyed a series at all, i'm sad. even the joy of the resolution doesn't outweigh the sadness

Perfect example for me would be Stargate Universe. I was happy with the ending, but am still so bummed out because the show was cut short while it was finally finding it's footing. No perfect ending would ever cause me to be happy about a series I enjoy being ended.

now if i've hated a series, like feist's magician series i'm relieved to finish the drivel

If it's a series I'm hating I usually put it down to try again later. If I still hate it I don't usually give it a third attempt.

similarly, though not exactly (because i have enjoyed it), i'll be happy to finish the malazan books, it's like a millstone around my neck
Kirk: Spock, you want to know something? Everybody’s human.
Spock: I find that remark…insulting.

What Rebekah says. When WoT ends all I'll feel is relief. - 12/05/2011 05:36:58 PM 673 Views
