At this rate I may have to read it in Italian or *shudder* Norwegian.
It takes place mostly in France and it consists mostly of a diary meant to be written in French, so if you want it early I guess the French translation is another option
I am not a great fan of reading translations into other languages than English (or, at a pinch, Norwegian). I figure that if I am going to make the effort of reading in another language, I might as well read it in Italian. Which is an option. Or would be if I weren't swamped. Perhaps the late release date is a blessing in disguise. At least it will not sidetrack me over the summer.
