So, lately I read an interview with GRRM regarding the new "game of thrones" HBO series. in it, it was said (not an exact quote) that GRRM conducted a sort of test to the would-be-writers of the series - he asked them who they think are Jon Snow's parents. in the interview, they refused to specify what their answer was, but apparently GRRM liked it, and therefor gave them the green light.
Now, I realize how un-likely it is that up-tight, honorable Ned Starck is indeed Jon's father. but, who is he protecting? who's worth lieing to his wife? and why?
the whole test thing makes it clear (to me, a least) that there is an answer. So - does anybody knows what it is? is it common knowledge and I'm missing something?
Much appreciate your help ' />
Here's a link to the full interview (if anybody here but me reads Hebrew…)
