Basically, I just want to find out what happens to Ganoes Paran. He was my favorite character from the start, and the only character I really ever felt compelled to find out where he ends up. Is he even in this book? If so how big of a part does he play?
You do find out what happens to the Master of the Deck.
It's not a huge portion in Book 10, but it is an important one.
His sister has a larger role.
And- as has been said- the first 200-300pages are the dust settling from Book 9, and then BAM... 600 pages blast through to a very (overall) satisfying conclusion.
If you like Erikson, and you've liked 'some' or 'any' of his books, you owe it to yourself to read the conclusion.

I read it barely remembering what had gone on. You'll be fine.
