The story I translated is a sort of supernatural horror story based on actual legends in South America surrounding the escuerzo frog. Of the others which I've read before (not many), the stories are haunting, atmospheric, with narratives that resemble a foggy moor with a Baskerville hound on the loose and not with the scientific explanations to clarify matters.
