Or, rather, pesky undergrad essays taking up all my time.
More or less. I have started Antonia Fraser's biography on Marie Antoinette. And I have read about a canto into the second book of Faerie Queene. And I am reading another Yates book, which I suppose covers history. I have also started putting books on hold for April. Niven's Ringworld, specifically. And Titus Groan.
Doubtful. It would have to be a book I felt very strongly about. But I try to catch up with book clubs when I finally do get round to reading books. I posted a lot of stuff in the Ishiguro one a couple of weeks ago. Not that anyone noticed....
Hehehehehehehehahahhahahahaha. *cough*
I have no opinion. Maybe Mervyn Peake?
I don't know. Probably picking a book everyone is reading anyway.
How are you all? Cracking on with the various challenges?

Sorry we admins have been a little silent of late. Real Life has been busy for all of us, I'm sure you understand, but we've also been having discussions about other things for the board.
Personally, I've been having a great deal of difficulty writing reviews. I've tried to review four different books recently and none of them have happened. It's a pain, but hopefully I'll be able to get something up soon. In the meantime, keep your reviews coming. They're great.
We'd like to do a Book Club soon, and your input would be useful. So please answer the following questions for me!
- Will you participate in a Book Club on this board?

- If yes, when's the best time of year for you? (I.e. when you've got the most time to read a book with a view to discussing it.)
Hehehehehehehehahahhahahahaha. *cough*
- What do you think we should choose for our next Book Club event? (SF/F options, please.)
I have no opinion. Maybe Mervyn Peake?
- Is there anything you think we could do to increase participation in our Book Clubs?
I don't know. Probably picking a book everyone is reading anyway.
