SONGS OF THE DYING EARTH - excellent with some great stories, particularly the one by Dan Simmons. A few duffs - Jeff VanderMeer's story was a poor fit - but overall very good.
WARRIORS - even better, a very strong collection about warriors from different cultures, some historical, some fantasy, some SF. The Tad Williams SF story (in which he goes Richard Morgan on us and pulls it off very well) and the new GRRM Dunk n Egg story are probably the highlights, but there isn't a duff story in the collection.
SONGS OF LOVE AND DEATH - a collection of SFF romance stories. Haven't read it, but it's apparently a bit duff. A few good stories (the Gaiman is highly-rated) but this one is a bit more of a miss than the previous two.
