I spent a lot of time reading at night in my High School years due to a rough home life. I read quite a bit of horror then and Koontz was always good for some stories (although I am not sure he is technically horror as much as thriller or suspense).
Strangers, Watchers and Lightning were all awesome books. I read many more but nowhere near all of his books and haven't read a ton in the last five or ten years although I did read and like Odd Thomas.
