Like, you know, how do you define "the regular culprits"? Does that just mean Jordan, Martin and maybe Goodkind, or are you thinking of dozens of books and series that you've all read already?

I was looking more for hidden gems. If it fairly well known I have probably read it or have decided to read it at a later date; or not read it at all.

A quick listing of fantasy authors I have read; Jordan, Martin, Tolkien , Hobb, Rothfuss, Lynch, Abercrombe, Novik, Freeman, Keys, Weeks, Farland ...... oh and Goodkind but I really, really hated it.
All good things come to those who wait.
