If you asked me about any book that I own, I can probably tell you when and where I bought it, what shelf it is on and, if I have already read it, the general time frame and place. Of course, for most books the answer of where I bought it is "amazon.com" and the book was likely read at home. Some were read on the train on my way to work back in the day, a few were read on planes or on business trips and an extreme few were read on the beach (these are paperbacks that I didn't care about).
I can't claim to know that about ALL the books in my library, but most of them? Yes.

Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.
