I studied this book as part of the Victorian Literature paper I took at university. I wrote a long essay on it, and it was my favourite book of that course.

Accordingly, I found it really difficult not to make this review sound like an academic essay, so I apologise if it does. It's not my best review. :P

I disagree. I think it is one of your best.
