My most exciting read is a bit of historical journalism called Empire of the Summer Moon, about Quanah Parker and the Comanches. I've started it and am stoked as hell that I remembered it at the bookstore the other day.
Also plan to read two novels by Twain in my long-lost desire to become familiar with the man's books, and I want to read the Jungle Books of Kipling, mostly because he believed his daemon was with him when he wrote them. If I get through the above I'll be pretty happy.

Happy 2011! So what are your reading plans in January?
