- Horror
I am still wondering how to find a horror book that does not actually scare me silly. I noticed the Parasol Protectorate was placed under horror in Blackwells...
She writes these great surrealistic stories that are disconcerting and sometimes scary (though not the "I don't dare to turn out the lights anymore" kind of scary), but it's generally rather hard to tell what the scary thing even is.
Or Lovecraft, do you like him? Or Poe. Poe is awesome.
Hehe. For some reason my brain has trouble linking authors I have already read to genres. It never occurred to me to read Lovecraft or Poe. It is a good idea. I have yet to read Kelly Link, but I believe Rebekah has some of her stuff on her "Camilla should read this" list.

We tried to get some less-mentioned genres, so makes sense, but you can interpret them widely.
