If I weren't so damn hung over I think I would have already finished L'étranger (I read it a couple years ago in English, now I'm reading it in French). As I it is I read the first half and think I can easily finish it tomorrow unless we have guests.
After that I will read either La Peste or Madame Bovary (read in English, re-reading in French). I am also awaiting a few books from amazon.de so I can pick a German work and start reading it. I think I'll also read one of the two Pelevin books on my list in January.
February - well, I haven't even started to think about what I'll read then.
I can honestly say that of the books on my list, the only ones that I've read in English (and so will be "re-reading" in the original language) are the two works noted above, Monte-Cristo, Remarque, Mann and Nietzsche.

Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

We tried to get some less-mentioned genres, so makes sense, but you can interpret them widely.
