I'm about halfway thru WOK and I love it. But . . . I'm beginning to understand how some people feel about Elayne's bath scenes and Faile's chapter on silk cleaning.:)


How's that? The Bridge Crew scenes show a group of slaves growing from people who don't give a damn about themselves, not to mention anyone else, to being a part of a family and caring for each other. The bath (and the dress smoothing/sniffing) scenes are filler for the most part. I don't remember a silk cleaning scene right off.
