The Last Page was disappointing for me as well, although technically I haven't read the entire book. I started it a few months back and keep trying to read it, but it just isn't appealing to me on any level at all - the writing, plot, or characters. So I keep trying it and then putting it down, but I'm about ready to give up on it. It's one of those that is so uninteresting to me that my mind keeps wandering so it is taking far too long to read when I could be reading other books.

The Last Stormlord by Glenda Larke was another disappointment. It wasn't hyped as much as The Last Page and I did finish it, but it wasn't as good as I'd been hoping after what I'd heard about it. The dynamics of how the world worked were interesting to read about, but the characters and writing were lackluster.
