I think Winter is a good season for rereading. It's a literary form of comfort food.

This is true, but I usually only reread if I am stuck somewhere with a book I've already read. I don't have anything against it, but I generally want to read something new if I find myself having any time to read.

He thinks buying books is wasteful. Unless they're non-fiction books.

It's funny, because he has the largest book collection in his family.

I like to buy books, and don't think it's wasteful at all to purchase them. I do feel a little like rereading wastes time though-- apparently I have a subconscious quest to read every book worth reading before I die.
