But if you dislike digression, it is not the book for you.

I don't hate digression necessarily, but sometimes it does frustrate me when someone goes off on a seemingly pointless tangent for an overly long period of time. I'm going to stick with it and hope that it's one of those books that really gets me in the next couple of chapters.
