I have more experience with the opposite - a bad ending ruining a really good book.

How do you feel about a really bad book, but one that has an amazing ending? I really like them, more then a book that's good all the way through except for the end. Like A Tale of Two Cities, an epic tale of fluff with an amazing ending, I really like the book. Winter's Heart, about 800 pages of fluff and an awesome ending, I liked the book. For me, a good ending can repair all problems the book may have had. But the good ending has to adress problems so its not like.........
You understand what I mean. If not, that's just too bad.
So, what do you think?

Really bad books, I don't tend to read for long enough to actually get to the ending. I did of course read WH, but there were some storylines I liked enough to carry me through the book, it wasn't just the ending that I liked.
The effect of the ending on a book....
