I've only read one book in German, it wasn't an easy book by any means and I was surprised by how much I understood. Lots of odd words, but I got the gist. And I have a dictionary, though I rarely bother to check any words. Only if I feel that they're essential.
But yeah, I think I'll pick this one up some day. For language practice, mostly. I might not read this in English.
Man, I thought you misspelled "Alptraum", I never knew you could write it with b instead of p. I'd have been interested in knowing about Nachtmahre, too.
Too damn bad that I don't have any more German lessons in the near future. At the university, then.
But yeah, nice review. And not wasted - you got at least me interested.
