My views essentially still accord with what I wrote halfway through. Although I did love certain scenes (Stephen's narration of the imaginary dialogue among Steven Sondheim's friends during the fax game scene was priceless), I don't see myself feeling the urge to re-listen to it anytime soon. The third book, whenever Stephen decides to write it, looks to be more along the lines of Moab, at least in terms of bleakness; I doubt I will find nearly as much to empathize with in a drug addict than a moonstricken teenager, though.
Probably true. My great hope is that it will have wreaked havoc on his sense of time, and so we'll go back to the more random association of Moab.
