I haven't watched the show (amazing for me since I'm usually a reality TV nut) but I did see that particular scene, and I think she was being antagonistic towards him.
I know she was antagonistic, but where I come from big men (even fake n baked, gel & tight t-shirt wearing, jersey boys) don't punch women. I thought he was her boyfriend though. Shows you what I know!
Anyway, good for her - she parlayed being the freak-of-the-week into a huge pay check for another season and a book deal. Plus she is being invited to a bunch of chic events. Incredible. Hopefully she chooses a great ghostwriter and investment consultant - she has more than enough money to grow it into an affluent retirement if well-tended.
I don't blame her in the least for capitalizing on things or the book company for jumping on it either. I don't even question that people will buy it, as much as they're watching the show. I would do it if I had 15 minutes of fame.
I just have problems with what her impact will be as she continues to get air / publicity time.
...and we were one and all thrilled that her MFA from Princeton would finally come in handy

Yes, keep it that way. I have half an idea, and that's already too much. *NM*

Isn't she the one that got punched in the face at the bar?

Yes, but I don't think she was dating the guy who punched her
