I've never read any of it, but I will say this:
conflating homosexuality and bisexuality with incest is problematic.
Also, once you get to shared great-grandfathers most people will not think twice. I think.
And I am a prude. Really.
The rest I cannot really comment on, having neither read the books nor seen the series (I assume this is the foundation for the True Blood series?).
