I wouldn't dare to say for sure that it doesn't happen here, but I've certainly never heard of it. Though then again, very few schools have a library at all, and trying to get books banned from a public library seems like an exercise in futility. The list is amusing, though, particularly Twilight at #5 (for 2009).
As a result, I don't really feel like the whole Banned Books Week has much relevance to me, so no, don't think I'll be doing anything.
