Makes sense. I wonder when he'll write his third, likely not long given TFC's popularity.

I don't envy his having to try to insure the May Ball against the death of the Queen Mum!
In fairness, though, I don't think I ultimately have a right to feel disappointed. What should I have expected the second biography of a celebrity to be about, if not other celebs and the celebrity lifestyle? I suppose I wish he had devoted the whole book to his Cambridge days.
That would have been good. I have a suspicion that the reason why the second half is so ... ordered? is that he hasn't had enough time to distance himself from it, and so does not look back on it in the same free association rambling way, which characterises Moab (and to some extent the first half). Or it may be that he is worried about leaving someone out.
